When something becomes an idol, it rules your life. It consumes you and enables the evils of this world to corrupt your heart & spirit.

You blindly chase something you will never catch, because you have yet to find contentment in God alone.

Throughout my life, I have placed my goals, dreams, and ambitions above God. I have placed money above God. Time and time again, I have pursued my own desires instead of seeking him.

But what a poor investment that is. Satisfying my flesh, my ego, but never my soul.

Is it not the soul that matters the most?

This is the reason I am so passionate about poorfinance. It is a way of life. It is surrendering yourself to God and putting him in his rightful place. Through it, I hope to inspire others to do the same.
